If you love to sketch but feel you could improve if taught some basic skills this is the course for you. We will look first at how to accurately scale whatever you are looking at and fit it onto any size paper. Shading will be discussed and the different approaches to take when drawing as an art form, as opposed to drawing in preparation for adding paint. We will also look at drawing landscapes and buildings, including basic perspective without measuring devices or scary maths! Finally we will practice drawing from photographs. Methods will be discussed and demonstrated, leading to a greater understanding and improvement of your drawing skills.
SUITABLE FOR: Beginners and improvers: Whether you are a complete beginner looking to start or just frustrated that your drawing skills aren’t as good as they could be you will find this practical course really useful.
